(4th year after joining the company)
While dry-docking is often divided into specialized tasks at major companies, here I am entrusted with the entire process. Listening to the voices of the seafarers, negotiating with the dockyard based on my own judgment, and seeing the gleaming ship undock brings an exceptional sense of achievement. The distance to the president is short, making it an environment where technical proposals are easily accepted.
(3rd year after joining the company)
I admired the shipowners of Onomichi and joined the company, but the scale of the work exceeded my expectations. While looking out over the Onomichi Channel, I experience the deep satisfaction of planning and launching newbuilding projects from scratch with my own hands.
